Similar to other reviews, I had a wonderful experience working with Tony, the owner of the company, who helped me with everything from the beginning process of preparing the site to connecting me with an electrician who can help adding lights and electrical outlet to the shed. Tony was able to match the color of the shed to the same exact color of our house. We received a lot of compliments of how wonderful the shed is and it looks like it’s a part of our main house because of the color matching. Tony and the whole construction crew were very professional and friendly. It was very easy to communicate with Tony and the construction crew. The shed looks exactly like how I pictured my dream shed! Tony responded to my questions and concerns very quickly throughout the process. - Eri P. 12/19/2024My son plays hockey and used to practice shooting/stickhandling in the backyard when we lived in sunny California. But now we are in rainy Washington, he has been using the garage to practice shooting and stick handling, which is very inconvenient (cars must be moved, walls may be damaged, etc). We need some solution where he could practice hockey without worrying about the weather or if he would break anything. The Original Mini Barns built a beautiful 10x20 shed in our backyard. It is so well-made, insulated and has a heater inside. Tony, the owner, even suggested putting a meshed net to cover the windows in case a puck flies into them. We are extremely happy with the shed, and my son practices hockey there whenever he can. Since it is insulated, if we ever want to convert it into something else like a library, that will be possible. Highly recommended!read moreread less

Then barely two weeks later they were back out and they built me the tool workshop I’d envisioned exactly as I wanted it, except better. I couldn’t be more pleased. Other companies offered services that would have given me some big variation of what I wanted but Mini Barns gave me exactly what I wanted, and they did so quickly, with efficiency and with skilled, friendly builders. From start to finish Tony was very organized, communicative, and answered all of our (many) questions. Everybody, including each group of sub contractors showed up exactly when they said they were going to and were highly professional. In addition, we’d like to shout out Cachet Concrete in Skagit who did our foundation. (We got a 12x16 forester shed) While it might cost more than your traditional shed, Original Mini Barn is a far superior product. Totally customizable to your space, which we appreciated.
